CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
We utilize an evidence-based curriculum that guarantees academic success and milestone achievements, accompanied by an observation tool to consistently measure each child's academic progress along the way in our lecture rooms. Additionally, our lesson plans include:

Our Nature-Based Outdoor Adventure lecture space is like no other you have ever seen at any other daycare center
- an all-inclusive Mud Kitchen and sensory tables
- hands-on garden beds for observing the growth of herbs and veggies
- butterfly and caterpillar atrium and museum (spring)
- playground, art station, tricycles, and so much more!

To avoid the hassle of fieldtrip outings, we bring the activities to us instead for a more intimate experience. We enjoy demonstrations and entertainment from local talents and artisans such as:
- magicians
- reptile guy
- petting zoo
- princesses and cartoon characters
- musicians
- sports and ballet trails
- science guy
- parent's career day
- first responders and firetruck
- and so much more

- The most fundamental stage in our life. We develop through experiences utilizing our 5 senses - sight, smell, sounds, touch and taste
- In our infant's lecture room, supplementary nourishments and affection are met by providing consistent care and reliability.
- Our curriculum emphasizes mostly on Gross Motor and Literacy Skills, such as tummy time, grasping large items in hands, encouragements of movement, and language development using storytime and American Sign Language.

- During this stage, toddlers beseech the sense of self-control, independency and the need to exercise free will.
- Our lecture room expose our toddlers to the realm of creativity and understanding emotions, along with introducing cultural and linguistic diversity.
- Our curriculum emphasizes mostly on Autonomy, Fine Motor and Socio-Emotional Skills, such as improving self-help skills, independent tasks, pincer grasp, sharing, taking turns and potty training!

- Our preschoolers condone the sense of purpose. Taking on roles, either pretend in dramatic play or assigned classroom duties such as line leader or setting the table.
- In this stage, we aim to build peer interactions, positive relationships and confidence, such as reading aloud to the class, practicing global languages, and participating in show & tell and large group activities.
- We love asking: who? what? when? where? why? and how? We emphasize mostly on Cognitive Skills, Literacy and Mathematics Skills. Expanding our vocabulary, phonological awareness, in-depth context of storytelling, categorizing, understanding patterns and sequence, measuring objects and performing countless explorations!

- WINNER OF BEST OF TENNESSESEE PREK PROGRAM - Our Pre-K scholars focus on Kindergarten Readiness and all 9 of the Academic Domains that aligns with Tennessee's standards. This is preceded with immense focus on Socio-Emotional Skills (problem solving, interpreting and controlling emotions, self-awareness), Literacy Skills (phonics, word recognition, communication and writing skills), hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities and structured weekly home studies.
- Our lecture rooms stimulate curiosity, builds character and resilience, increases self-esteem, embarks new challenges and is endowed with individualized support to prepare them for the future.

WAITLIST OPEN
- A space dedicated for neurodivergent, developmentally impaired, and/or behaviorally challenged children. We provide an individualized curriculum for each child.
- Burke's Academy work alongside each child's therapist to assist with behavioral challenges, social communication, and help overcome triggers using neurodiversity-affirming techniques.
- With a nurse on-site, care is readily available for children with medical challenges

- We encourage play-based learning. Afterhours curriculum is less strict, more child-centered for all ages and individualized to fit his or her developmental needs.

are homeschool-like, small and bright to allow your child's imagination to run wild & free and to openly express their creativity. Our learning curriculum uses the whole-child approach, equipped with WALDORF-inspired materials, interactive S.T.E.A.M. activities and is encompassed by both Erik Erikson's Psychosocial and Jean Piaget's Cognitive Development Theories.
